Replacing an aged phone system with a new communication system allowed to have options for future growth, disaster recovery, and a more functional collaboration system.

Following of the required implementation of a new centralised IP Telephony and Unified Communication solution to be installed across their sites. Fettayleh branch was utilising a system that is now deemed the end of life and unsupported.
The age of the hardware and its end-of-support status posed significant risk to Fettayleh Small Goods. The risk of system failure, coupled with the requirement to achieve consolidated business functions pressed them to look to the market for a new feature-rich IP Telephony and Unified Communications solution.
The Organisation aimed to provide a higher level of customer service by implementing a single contact centre to assist with queries from both of the customer service and production area and improve the way information and were processed.
Solution
After an intensive selection process focusing on capability and value for money, the Cisco Unified Communications was selected. EXELCOM was the integrator responsible for delivering the solution. EXELCOM designed and implemented the Cisco IP Telephony and Unified Communication solution across multiple sites for Fettayleh Small Goods.
We were able to meet Fettayleh’s key requirements by deploying:
Cisco Voice Appliances (BE6K) across the sites
Cisco CUBE Centralized at head office
Cisco WebEx Meeting Board for room-based video conferencing between sites and Clients
Cisco Jabber and WebEx Teams for presence, instant messaging and desktop video conferencing
Cisco Unified Contact Centre Express for ingestion of customer queries via phone, email and web
Impact
Fettayleh Small Goods now has a consolidated, reliable, and supportable communications platform. The deployment allowed staff to efficiently communicate and collaborate through video, voice, and instant messaging across all Fettayleh offices with ease. What started as a project to replace ageing equipment resulted in the creation of a platform assisting the merging of two very different organisations. By implementing the solution, Fettayleh will have options for future growth and a more functional collaboration system. Further.
